Some FAQ and answers:
What size yarn do I need for the lamb applique?
For this Lamb Applique pattern I used Himalaya Everyday Bebe Lux 100% Acrylic, #3 DK light weight yarn in the colors white, pink and lilac. You will need at least 20g/ 0.70oz (50m/ 54yards) yarn of each color. I purchased this incredible Anti-Pilling yarn from I love Yarn, a shop here in South Africa.
Use the colors and DK weight yarn you prefer. If you can’t find/buy what I used – you can use something like Bernat Softee Baby Yarn or Bernat Baby Sport Yarn.

Assembly:
Using the long tails provided by each piece, weave the yarn tail through the tapestry needle and sew the pieces together by weaving the needle through the back and front of the work.
- First, using your tapestry needle and black yarn, sew they eyes to the head. The placement for the eyes are next to the middle of the head.
- Then sew the head piece securely to the middle of the body.
- Thereafter, sew the wool piece on to the top of the head.
- Next, sew the two feet to bottom of the Lamb. When spacing them, you can leave one shell between the two feet. They must also be parallel to the head.
- After finishing your crochet lamb applique, sew it to your project!
